ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Denard Robinson was back to playing like Denard Robinson Saturday, and as a result, the Michigan quarterback is taking home another Big Ten honor.

For the eighth time in his career, Robinson was named the Big Ten offensive player of the week.

The senior quarterback accumulated 426 yards of total offense against Air Force, and scored and four touchdowns. It helps that Robinson was facing Air Force, rather than the Alabama Crimson Tide.

In the Wolverines 31-25 win, Robinson scored twice on the ground and twice through the air.

The eighth award puts Robinson in rare company, tying former Purdue quarterback Drew Brees for second all-time in Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week Awards.

Former Wisconsin running back Ron Dayne picked up nine during his career from 1996-99.

Michigan tight end Devin Funchess was named the league's freshman of the week. Funchess had for catches Saturday for 106 yards and a touchdown.
