MSU preparing for second round NCAA Tournament matchup against Valparaiso

(WXYZ) - Michigan State University is preparing for it's second round NCAA Tournament matchup against Valparaiso.

The Spartans are seeded third in the very tough Midwest Region, while the Crusaders are seeded 14th.

MSU head coach Tom Izzo told reporters Monday, "The most dangerous thing about Valpo is their experience."

The Horizon league champion starts five seniors.

The game will be played at The Palace of Auburn Hills Thursday afternoon at 12:15 pm.

On Monday, players and coaches talked to media members about the keys to winning this weekend and beyond.
