Lions defensive end Ndamukong Suh is reaching out to young fans who wear their #90 jerseys to Lions practice Tuesday morning in Allen Park.

Suh plans to greet fans ages 0-13 after the workout Tuesday and take a group picture with some of the youngest fans as part of a special event he's dubbed "SUHsday."

“I really enjoy having a chance to interact with my younger fans after practice, it’s a great way for me to thank them for taking the time to come out and support us,” said Suh.

Tuesday's workout is the first training camp session this summer that's open to the general public in Allen Park.  Practice begins at 9:15am, but fans are encouraged to arrive early in order to gain admittance.  There is a limited amount of space surrounding the practice fields at the team's training facility.

Suh has been very active in the community, headlining The Ndamukong Suh Family Foundation's effort to provide programming and considerable donations to education, health, wellness and nutrition development for youth.

Earlier this summer, Suh hosted a weekend-long football camp in Dearborn.

He has also established a twitter-driven fan base called the #SUHSQUAD.
