The NBA released its schedule for next season and the Pistons will open Halloween night against the Houston Rockets at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Detroit's home opener will be their only game at the Palace in their first seven matchups of the year. A six-game roadtrip will take them west to Phoenix, Los Angeles to play the Lakers, Denver, Sacramento, Oklahoma City and Houston.
The Pistons return home on November 12 to play the western conference champion Oklahoma City Thunder. Home games against Orlando, Boston, Toronto, Portland and Phoenix are also featured in November.
Visits from Chicago and the Los Angeles Clippers highlight December's home schedule. The Bulls play in Auburn Hills on December 7, and the Clippers visit the Palace on December 17.
The Pistons will be home for five games between December 28-January 6, beginning with a date against the world champion Miami Heat. The city will be abuzz with activity at that time, as the Lions play home games on December 22 against Atlanta and December 30 against Chicago and the Red Wings host the NHL Winter Classic against Toronto on January 1.
Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers come to town on Super Bowl Sunday, February 3. That game will start at 1pm.
March sees the Pistons play nine of 15 games on the road, including a second trip out west for games against the LA Clippers, Utah, Golden State and Portland.
