Andre Drummond signed his first multi-year contract with the Pistons Tuesday afternoon.
The first-round draft choice out of Connecticut, who was selected ninth overall in the first round of the NBA Draft on June 28, has played well in two summer league games.
The Pistons are expected to be patient with the 18 year-old Drummond, who is 6'11" and possibly still growing. He has scored 11 points in two summer league games and has hauled in eight rebounds.
