According to numerous reports, Central Michigan university product John Bonamego will join the Lions as their new special teams coordinator. Bonamego has spent over 10 seasons in the NFL with stops in Jacksonville, Fla., New Orleans, Miami and Green Bay, Wis.
As of Friday, Jan. 18, the Lions had not officially confirmed the reports that Bonamego has landed in Motown.
Bonamego will reportedly coach with the Lions at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., on Saturday, Jan. 26.
