Tim Hardaway, Jr.'s historic Friday night earned him more than a place in Michigan basketball history.

The Wolverines junior guard nabbed the Big Ten's Player of the Week honor Monday.

Hardaway scored 25 points in Michigan's 100-62 win over Slippery Rock, helping him become the 46th player in school history to surpass the 1,000 career point mark.

He went 8-for-10 from the field, and tied his personal best three-pointer mark with five in the game.

The award is the second of his career.

Michigan hosts the first round of the NIT Season Tip-Off tonight against IUPUI.
