Early Wednesday morning, the Detroit Titans returned home to a warm reception from fans at Calihan Hall eager to welcome the Horizon League champions.
Head Coach Ray McCallum, who received a birthday serenade from the fans, addressed the crowd and expressed his gratitude for the support the team received throughout the season and especially during the Horizon League Tournament.
McCallum also urged fans to get tickets for the first round of the NCAA Tournament, which starts next week,
The Titans clinched their first NCAA Tournament bid since 1999 with a 68-50 win over Valparaiso in the Horizon League Championship Game.
