UDM's Minnerath named Horizon League Player of the Week

(WXYZ) - University of Detroit senior forward Nick Minnerath has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week.

He scored a game-high 27 points Friday against Youngstown State in the Titans 88-77 win. In the team's win over Wright State last week, he scored 18 points and had four rebounds.

Minnerath has scored 20 points four times this season.

The honor is the first of his career, and the third for a Titans player this season.

Detroit is 15-8 this year and 7-3 in Horizon League play, good for second in the conference.
