DETROIT (WXYZ) - Justin Verlander has personally invited one of his Twitter followers to watch him take the hill Tuesday in Game 3 of the ALCS .
Verlander announced the winner to his Twitter contest Tuesday morning. The Grand Prize went to @ dethsqudsalvadr for a rap video she and her family made showcasing their Detroit pride.

The Tiger's Ace tweeted Monday morning that he was hosting a contest on the social media site, asking Tigers fans to show him their Detroit pride.
@ JustinVerlander "Incredible weekend for Detroit! Contest is to show your # DETROITpride in any way...I'll RT some & the winner gets two tix to Game 3 # ALCS. "
The winner will sit pretty at Comerica Park with a guest as Verlander and the Tigers host the Yankees after taking two from the team in New York.
Should the Tigers sweep by winning Games 3 and 4 at home they will advance to the World Series.
