Wife of Detroit Tigers' Miguel Cabrera calls 911 to report domestic violence episode

(WXYZ) - The 911 call made by wife of Detroit Tigers' Miguel Cabrera, Roseangel, on the morning of October 4, 2009. Police were called after Cabrera came home at 6:05 a.m., following a night of heavy drinking. He reportedly woke their 4-year-old daughter and started an argument with his wife.

Both Cabrera and his wife had apparent injuries; Roseangel to her lower lip and Cabrera to the left side of his face.

Birmingham police escorted to the station where he was picked up by a Detroit Tigers representative.

His blood alcohol content level was a reported .26, more than three time the legal intoxication limit.
