DETROIT (WXYZ) - On Tuesday, the Red Wings announced that defenseman Kent Huskins signed a one-year contract to join the team before its home opener with Dallas.
The six-year NHL veteran, who has appeared in 299 career NHL games with Anaheim, San Jose and St. Louis, won a Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007.
According to reports, Huskins deal is worth $750,000.
Huskins has appeared in 48 career playoff contests.
