After struggling in South Bend on Saturday night, the Michigan Wolverines have fallen out of the AP Top 25 poll. Quarterback Denard Robinson stumbled from the get-go on his way to four interceptions and a lost fumble. The Wolverines head into their bye week at 2-2 and will take on the Purdue Boilermakers in their Big Ten opener October 6th in West Lafayette.

The Michigan State Spartans struggled early as well but managed to defeat the Eagles of Eastern Michigan 23-7 behind a 253 yard rushing effort by Le'Veon Bell. Michigan State sits at No. 20 in this weeks poll as they prepare for a tough test in East Lansing next Saturday against the 14th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes. Ohio State is the highest ranked team in the Big Ten.

Alabama remains atop the national polls and received all but one of the first place votes. Oregon moved into the second position after defeating No. 22 Arizona, leapfrogging LSU who received the other lone first place vote. Florida State and Georgia round out the top five.
