DETROIT (WXYZ) - Arctic air will be dangerous tonight with wind chills going below zero for many hours.
We are watching for the formation of a minor snow storm to get the weekend started around here. Right now it looks like 3"-5" should cover most areas with the higher amounts around Detroit and south.
The next 48 hours:
Tonight: Few clouds and bitterly cold with wind chills below zero. Lows: 0-9 / Winds: W 5-15
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a stray flurry, very cold. Highs: 17-21 / Winds: SW 10-20 with higher gusts late
Friday: Clouds increase with a 3-% chance of snow late in the day. Highs: 24-29 / Winds: SW 5-10
