(WXYZ) - You'll want to make sure you download our 7 First Alert Weather iPad and iPhone apps so you can track the storm moving into our area.

Zoom the 7 First Alert Radar on your own neighborhood and read the very latest forecast on your iPhone or iPad.

Our weather app combines the latest forecasts from our Action News meteorologists with the ability to view a live interactive radar image.

The iPhone app is free. The app for the iPad is $1.99 and contains a larger, “HD” version of the live interactive radar map.

You can find and install both apps by searching “WXYZ” in the Apple iTunes App Store. You can also use each of these links:

Did you know you can visit WXYZ.com and our mobile apps to receive the latest information on metro Detroit school closings and delays ? E mail and text message alerts are available as well?

We want to hear what you think of our apps. Be sure to share your experiences with us here or through comments on the App Store.
