Arts, Beats & Eats returns to Royal Oak this Labor Day Weekend with great food and music lineup

ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Ford Arts, Beats & Eats presented by FirstMerit Bank celebrates its 5th year in Royal Oak this Labor Day weekend.

The event will run from August 29 to September 1.

Visitors can also enjoy top artists' work at the Juried Fine Art Show. Artists close to home and across the country will feature digital art, drawings, photography, glass and more.

The Michigan Lottery National Stage will feature plenty of local and big name artists. The Village People, Third Eye Blind, Theory of a Deadman and Randy Houser are just a few of the performers who will keep the music going all weekend long.

Last, but not least, are the eats. This year's festivities will showcase food from over 50 Metro Detroit area restaurants. Food options are endless with everything from Famous Dave's barbeque to Mitchell's Fish Market to the Potato Factory.

There's fun for the whole family including kid-friendly events. DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan Kids Zone and Radio Disney are sure to keep the kids happy.
