Diana Lewis leads Walk For Friendship in West Bloomfield

Everyone's friend Diana Lewis is lacing up her shoes to walk for friendship in West Bloomfield.

Lewis, a former Channel 7 anchor, is teaming up with Mike Stone of 97.1 The Ticket to walk for a good cause on Sunday, Sept. 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lewis and Stone will serve as emcees as they help raise money for people with special needs in the annual event run by The Friendship Circle. 
 
The walk will begin at the West Bloomfield Town Hall in West Bloomfield and will end at Friendship Circle's Farber Center.
 
The walk draws thousands every year, and this year's goal is to raise more than $600,000. 
 
Families will find lots of fun things to to. They will be able to enjoy delicious food, a zipline, micro-reality racing, a sports arena, Michigan Science Center experiments, kids workshop with Home Depot and additional entertainment.  Admission is free, but generous donations are welcome at the event.
