Concert to fight homelessness

A former homeless beauty queen Blair Griffith is in Detroit to host a concert designed to fight homelessness.       It's set for Monday Februrary 1 at the Detroit Institute for Music Education (DIME),

It's a one-night only event that begins at 7pm.  The Detroit Institue for music education is located at 1265 Griswold in Detroit.

The concert is being held by the group "Start from Here"  to raise money for Detroit young people experiencing homelessness and housing instability. Start from Here is partnering with the Ruth Ellis Center in Detroit which serves runaway, homeless and at-risk youth.

The concert on February 1 will feature Flint Eastwood, Jena Irene Asciutto and Britney Stoney, and the doors open at 7pm.  CLICK HERE FOR : Concert Ticket Details.
