(WXYZ) - The Detroit Police Athletic League (PAL) will host its annual football championship game this weekend at Ford Field giving hundreds of kids an opportunity to play at the home of the Detroit Lions.
The Detroit Lions are sponsors of the championship game on Saturday, Nov. 9.
CEO Tim Richey tells 7 Action News the program has been around for over 40 years and over 10,000 kids participate each year.
Eight hundred kids will get the chance to play on Ford Field in front of 7,500 spectators.
Tickets are available at the door for $5. First game starts at 9 a.m.
