River Days: What you need to know, cost, parking and activites

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Kick off summer at River Days on the Detroit River Walk June 21- 23,.

Activities include viewing tall ships, jet-ski demonstrations, and riverboat tours to live music. In addition everyone can participate in making sand sculptures and eat food.

Admission: The money raised goes to support the non-profit Detroit Riverfront Conservancy. Admission is free between 11 a.m. and 5p.m. the first day. Children 3 years-old and under and adults 65 and up do not have to pay the admission fee. DMC River Days Run participants also receive free admission for the weekend.

11 a.m. to 5 p.m. is $3.

5 p.m. tickets cost $5.
