Eminem holding online charity auction to benefit Focus: HOPE

(WXYZ) - Eminem is launching a new effort that will help raise money for Focus: HOPE.

Called "Eminem for Hope," the effort will include an online charity auction that will run from May 19 through May 29 on eBay Giving Works.

Items up for bid will include five rare Casio G-Shock watches that Eminem help design, ticket packages for the sold-out Comerica Park stop of Eminem's Monster Tour that will feature Rihanna and limited edition Detroit tribute baseball caps signed by the rapper.

The Casio G-Shock watches are part of the limited edition set that sold out shortly after being released in December 2013. These particular watches were made especially for Eminem and featured a white silhouette of the Detroit skyline. They were not available to the general public.

Prospective bidders can take a look at the items and sign up for an email reminder about the auction online now.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit Focus: HOPE's upcoming "Heroes for Hope" fundraiser, which will honor the lives of the charity's late founders, Father William Cunningham and Eleanor Josaitis.
