According to the ancient Mayan calendar, a cataclysmic event will occur on December 21, 2012. This armageddon-esque event is chronicled in the film '2012,' which premiered Tuesday night in Los Angeles. Stars of the movie disclosed to ET what their plans are for that impending date.
John Cusack said, "Roland [Emmerich], the director, had a good idea. He said we should try to go skiing, so if we're up on top of the mountain, we'll see the wave coming."
The actor further explained the premise of the film. "I know the Mayan calendar was a great sundial and it was also one of the most intricate time calendars there was, so all those pyramids were…sort of time machines that would tell you exactly on the day or the month or the year…so on that date, it just stops."
