Jack White announces 2 Detroit shows in July at the Fox Theatre and Masonic Temple, new album coming

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Jack White is returning home with stops at the Fox Theater and Masonic Temple on July 28 and July 30. The concert dates are part of a tour supporting his new album, Lazaretto.

This is his first tour since 2012.

New Orleans singer songwriter Benjamin Booker is scheduled to open for both dates.

The shows will take place at the Fox on Monday, July 28 at 8 p.m. and at the Masonic Temple (which White has supported financially ) on Wednesday, July 30 at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. and will run between $34.50 and $49.50 plus fees.

White's new album comes out June 10, but he will commemorate Record Store Day on April 19, by recording, pressing and releasing the world's fastest record, a live version of Lazaretto.
