(WXYZ) - Justin Bieber's life story could become an ABC comedy series.
A proposed single-camera sitcom is in the works, which will showcase the singer's unconventional upbringing before he was famous.
The comedy will be based mostly on Bieber's home life.
He was raised by his single mother and grandparents.
The show, which has already landed a script commitment from the network, was first eyed during the 2011 development cycle as a multi-camera project.
The untitled comedy is described as a family show.
ABC Studios says, the comedy lists Bieber and his manager, Scooter Braun, as executive producers.
