DETROIT (WXYZ) - The casting director for the Ryan Gosling film How to Catch a Monster has announced that they are holding an open casting call for a young child to appear in the movie.
Named Frankie, the child is described as:
Caucasian or Bi-racial (must be half caucasian)
male 2-3 years old. A "feral" like boy who is constantly getting into trouble for tying to escape his school and house. He is quiet, but has an expressive face and deeply active internal life. Because of the lack of lines for this character, there should be an imaginative quality as if he lives in a make believe world he has created.
Identical twins, triplets, quadruplets, etc. are especially encouraged to submit.
Anyone interested should email recent pictures or video with contact information to
firstname.lastname@example.org. Producers will contact potential candidates for an in-person meeting. The deadline in April 19.
All candidates must be available from April 22 to June 21 and live either in Detroit or within 3 hours driving distance from the city.
