(WXYZ) - Buzz and Woody are coming back, but this time they'll be appearing on the small screen.
ABC announced today that Disney/Pixar is working on a Toy Story special that will air this October.
Called Toy Story of Terror, the special will feature the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Carl Weathers, Timothy Dalton, Don Rickles, Wallace Shawn and Kristen Schaal.
ABC says the spooky tale will start out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang, but it takes a turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel where one of the toys disappears. The other toys must then solve a mysterious series of events before they all suffer the same fate.
This will be the first time a new Toy Story has debut on TV and the first new entry in the Toy Story series since the short Partysaurus Rex, which was shown in theaters before the re-release of Finding Nemo in 2012.
