Spielberg, Williams join Detroit Symphony Orchestra for music, film from Star Wars, E.T. & more

DETROIT (WXYZ) - TICKETS HAVE SOLD OUT FOR THIS EVENT.

Oscar-winning composer John Williams and legendary director Steven Spielberg  will join the Detroit Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, June 14, for a special one-night only benefit concert.

The concert will benefit the orchestra, and tickets go on sale Monday, April 14.

Williams, who has won five Academy Awards and 21 Grammy Awards, will feature some of his most popular and iconic scores, including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Jaws, E.T., Indiana Jones, Schindler's List and more.

The second half of the evening includes Spielberg joining Williams, presenting selections from their remarkable forty-year artistic collaboration, including selected film clips projected on a giant screen above the orchestra.
