The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a person of interest involved in an armed robbery on Detroit's west side.
At 3:00 a.m. on July 5, an armed suspect approached a male victim on the 3000 block of Woodward. The suspect then robbed the victim of his cell phone and wallet before fleeing the scene on foot.
The victim was not injured.
