(WXYZ) - She's your baby…your beauty…the love of your life…a classic! Now it's time to rev up that ride for WXYZ's exclusive coverage of the 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise presented by Chevrolet on Saturday, August 17th from 7-9 p.m.
This extravaganza is the largest one-day automotive event in the world, attracting more than one million visitors each year to Metro Detroit's legendary Woodward Avenue.
7 Action News anchors Stephen Clark and Carolyn Clifford will host the show from a street-side stage in Birmingham.
7 Action News anchors JoAnne Purtan, Jeff Vaughn, Glenda Lewis, Alicia Smith, and Vic Faust will provide live coverage from up and down the route.
7 Action Sports Director Tom Leyden will take viewers into the heart of the action from a classic convertible cruising LIVE down Woodward Avenue, and 7 Sports Reporter Brad Galli will provide birds-eye coverage from Chopper 7.
Included in the show will be interviews with car owners, features on the cruising history of the communities along Woodward, and a look at how a new generation of auto enthusiasts is carrying on the cruising tradition.
Plus, Kevin Pereira, the host of America's new favorite TV game show "Let's Ask America," will be on hand to play the game with Dream Cruise visitors and audition future contestants.

WXYZ will provide bumper-to-bumper coverage from Ferndale to Pontiac, on Thursday, August 15th and Friday, August 16th with live reports in 7 Action News at 5, 6 and 7 that capture all the excitement of the Cruise.
7 Action News will also provide live coverage of the 5K fun walk/run event, Cruise In Shoes, through the streets of Royal Oak, on Saturday morning, August 17th. Cruise in Shoes is presented by the Woodward Dream Cruise and First Merit Bank.
