They're revved up and ready for some cruisin'.

The night before the Dream Cruise, classic car lovers have already gathered along Woodward Avenue in Berkley for a preview of Saturday's event.

Gerald Bailey of Detroit said he felt like a kid on Christmas.

"Like a kid all over again. From big wheels on up to big cars," Bailey said.

Joe Lorio brought his classic Ford pickup and his grandson. Lorio said one day he'll give the pick up to the 14-year-old. For now, he is passing down an appreciation for cruisin' and the classic American automobile.

""Keeps you young. and passing it on to the youngsters is where it's at," Lorio said.

For others the tradition is just getting started. James Liu recently moved to Detroit from Texas. Tomorrow will be his first Dream Cruise. He's already taken lots of pictures of some of his favorite cars.

"I always like the little 50s and 60s cars so it's fun to see it driving right outside my house," Liu said.
