Name change marks new era for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
TURIN, Italy (WXYZ) - The new group Fiat-Chrysler will now be known as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the automotive company announced Wednesday.
The company also announced that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V., in the Netherlands, will be the parent company of the group.
FCA will present a long-term business plan to the financial community this May.
Fiat gained control of Chrysler after bankruptcy back in 2009, and last week a deal was reached to make Fiat the sole owner of Chrysler.
