(WXYZ) - Bethany Spohr spends more time in grocery stores than most of us. She usually visits 4 or 5 stores for 45 minutes each. She’s not shopping though. She’s doing homework, looking for deals on organic and natural foods.
She does the work, so you don’t have to.
“So I’ll write all this down and I post it on my website,” Bethany says.
Her site is AllNaturalSavings.com , one stop shopping if you will. Each week she lists the advertised and unadvertised deals at Kroger, Meijer, Whole Foods, Target and more. Then she finds and posts coupons for some of those same products, to maximize your savings… and they can be substantial! On a recent trip to Kroger, her 75 dollars worth of natural and organic foods cost her $25!
Why she made the switch
Bethany began eating more naturally some 5 years ago after her life changed seemingly overnight.
“Basically one morning I woke up and was in extreme pain and fatigue. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, and Fibromyalgia,” she explains. “Over a few years I was able to find natural remedies and an overhaul of my diet, and eating natural and organic foods that helped me from a lot of these things,” she says.
She first began blogging about her experience, but then decided if she could help others eat healthier, it’d be a win-win. They’d benefit and so could she.
You see, she makes money from ads on her site and coupons printed. She’s making enough money right now to cover her monthly grocery bills, and she has great hopes over time, it’ll bring in even more money each month.
It all helps, considering Bethany quit her job 15 months ago when her son Silas was born. Now, she can be a stay-at-home mom, make some money and help others save some. That’s why I say “Mom’s a Genius.”
