Over 5,400 cantaloupes recalled in Michigan due to possible listeria contamination

(WXYZ) - More than 5,400 cantaloupes are being recalled because of possible listeria contamination.

The cantaloupes were distributed to small Michigan stores between July 23-26 by Heeren Brothers produce.

That supplier is based out of Grand Rapids. The recall affects 'Athena' cantaloupes but the fruit may not have any identifiable stickers or markings.

So far there have been no reports of sickness from the cantaloupes.
