WARREN, Mich. (WXYZ) - A Warren police officer is recovering after being slashed during a confrontation with a suspect.
It happened on Waltham Street, near Eight Mile and Groesbeck, close to the border of Warren and Detroit's east side.
The officer is expected to be okay. The suspect, who is in his mid 20s, is in police custody. His name has not yet been released.
