Detroit police are investigating after one man was killed and another one was injured in a shooting late Thursday on the city's east side.
Witnesses say it all started with a friendly game of dice, but somehow that game took a deadly turn and it ended in gunfire.
It happened before midnight at the corner of St. Cyril and Nett.
Police say someone fired at least six shots, hitting two men. One was taken to the hospital in critical condition, the other victim, a 34-year-old man, was shot and killed just outside the side door to his home.
Police are searching for a suspect.
