Police up north are investigating after a toddler was found with marijuana at a daycare center in Manistee.
According to 9&10 News, the 1-year-old boy had the marijuana inside his mouth at the Next Generation Learning Center. An employee pulled it out.
Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Tribal Police tell 9&10 the marijuana was likely brought in by someone not employed by the daycare.
9&10 reports K9 units searched the room and there was extensive cleaning before it reopened. The center is now conducting mandatory drug screenings for employees.
