DETROIT (WXYZ) - The government of Canada reports that a 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit an area in Quebec this morning.
Earthquakes Canada says the tremor was felt at 9:43 a.m. They say it was centered near Shawville, Quebec.
Ten minutes after the initial quake, an aftershock was felt that Canadian government sources measured to be a 4.1 magnitude earthquake.
Shawville, is about 400 miles northeast of Detroit.
