Family of 9-month-old from Howell with rare liver cancer hoping for life-saving transplant

HOWELL (WXYZ) - The family of a 9-month-old from Howell with a rare form of liver cancer is hoping for a transplant that could save his life.

Jameson Timberlake has suffered RSV, multiples respiratory infections, and pneumonia twice causing him to spend most of his young life in the hospital.

In February, Jameson's pediatrician noticed during a stomach exam that his liver was slightly enlarged. After a series of tests, doctors confirmed that he suffers from Hepatocellular Carcinoma, a very rare form of liver cancer.

Jameson will need a full liver transplant, as long as the cancer has not already spread to other organs.

The family asks everyone  to join in prayer and positive thoughts to help Jameson through this battle. The family will use the Facebook page Team Jameson, to keep everyone up to date on his progress.

"He will beat this and have a courageous story to tell his children one day. With your help, this road will be easier with love and support by our side. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers," Jessica Timberlake, Jameson's mother, said.

The Buffalo Wild Wings in Genoa Township will be donating 20% of sales on June 9  if you show them the Team Jameson Flyer, that can be found on the Facebook page.
