95-year-old woman rescued from stalled car in storm

(WXYZ) - They were driving on I-275 near Livonia when their car just stalled. 

The falling snow created close to white-out conditions.  Orin Smith called 911, but luck was on their side.  Mike Tate, a driver with Quality Towing in Southfield, was nearby and made the rescue. 

A Michigan State Police Trooper was also nearby and blocked traffic for Tate to make the tow. 

His 95-year-old mother was riding with him. They said they are incredibly thankful luck was on their side.
