Terry Foster, who is the co-host of the "Valenti and Foster" show on 97.1 The Ticket, suffered a minor stroke and will be off the air for a while.
According to a blog post on CBSDetroit.com, says he expects to make a full recovery and be back on the air by Oct. 3.
"I am lucky. I am fortunate. This is a wake up call," he wrote in the blog. "And I wear beads on my wrist to remind me to take it easy. So if you know of a place that sells really cool bracelets, let me know."
Foster had previously worked for The Detroit News while also co-hosting a show at 97.1, where he has been with Valenti since 2004.
I suffered a mild stroke and am going to be fine. I am walking and talking and plan on being silly again on 971 the ticket by Oct 3
