Applications are now open for musicians and bands that would like to be considered for performing in the line-up of 2018 Stars in the Park.

Stars in the Park is a free summer concert series that takes place over nine weeks each Thursday evening at the Heritage Park Amphitheater at 24915 Farmington Road in Farmington Hills.

Bands interested in performing at one of the concerts may submit an application at https://form.jotform.com/62565787858175  or through the City website at http://www.fhgov.com/Home.aspx under Activities, Programs, Cultural Arts, and Summer Concerts. Applicants should include links to websites, Facebook or YouTube where their performances can be viewed.

All Stars in the Park concerts start at 7 p.m. on Thursdays and last until approximately 8:30 p.m.  In case of inclement weather, the concerts are held at the Costick Center located at 28600 Eleven Mile Road.

High school students may also apply at this time.  Each year, there is a High School Music Night where local young artists have an opportunity to broaden their experience and share their work with new audiences.  At this concert, several musicians perform for ten minutes each.  Farmington Hills features this event in conjunction with Farmington School of Rock, which supplies the equipment for the show.
