The fate of James VanCallis Jr. is now in the hands of a jury.
Closing arguments began and ended this morning.

VanCallis Jr. is charged with the kidnapping, murder and attempted sexual assault of Armada teen April Millsap in the summer of 2014.
The jury deliberated until 5:00 p.m. They will return to their deliberations on Monday.
