Armed robbery at Southfield Verizon store

(WXYZ) - Southfield Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Verizon Wireless store at gunpoint on Greenfield Road on February 27.

Police say a worker was closing the store when the suspect attempted to enter, asking to buy a screen protector.

When the employee walked back to the cash register, the suspect pulled out a handgun and ordered the victim to the back office where a safe was located.

We're told the suspect then duct-taped the victim's hands together and stole 13 iPhones from the safe.

The suspect is described as a black man around 25 to 30 years old and around 5 feet 10 inches. He was last seen wearing a gray pull over hoodie, blue jeans, white shoes, and a black baseball hat with a design.
