What’s it like to be in space? Just ask NASA astronaut Scott Kelly.

During a recent Ask Me Anything on Reddit, Kelly gave some very interesting responses to some good questions about life on the International Space Station.

Kelly noted in the initial post that he just passed the 300 day mark of his full year in space. He is the first American to spend a whole year in space continuously.

His Reddit AMA received more than 4,000 comments.

Of some of the top voted questions was one that asked if crew members play space pranks on one another.

Scott replied "Occasionally..." which leaves us to wonder.

Another fun question from user Doug_Lee asked why Kelly's arms are always folded.

Kelly revealed that it feels awkward to leave them floating in front of him—so he keeps them folded. Some of the Redditors wrote they always thought it was just because he wanted to look tough.

When it comes to something unusual about being in space, the astronaut stated that the calluses on the bottom of his feet fell off, and the skin on the top of his skin became rough—because he uses the foot rails to get around the ISS.

Interesting and maybe a little gross.
