(WXYZ) - Baby Jogger is recalling its car seat adaptors for strollers because the company says they pose a potential fall hazard.
The car seat adaptors come in three models and consist of two U-shaped, black, aluminum support bars. The company received 47 complaints of the car seat adaptor support bars failing and car seats falling to the floor. Two injured infants were reported.
The adaptors were sold at Buy Buy Baby and other child stores nationwide. They were also sold at albeebaby.com, amazon.com, buybuybaby.com, diapers.com and other online retailers from June 2012 through June 2013.
They sold for about $60 for the single adaptor and $100 for the double adaptor.
Customers are advised to stop using their car seat adaptor immediately and call Baby Jogger for free replacement bars.
