Social media helped the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office make a quick arrest in an early morning breaking and entering Sunday.

Deputies say 53-year-old Tony Pollack was arrested after this surveillance video was viewed thousands of times.

It all happened at a Thai Orchid Restaurant on Cherry Street in Mount Clemens.

The man begins by peering into the restaurant, appearing to make sure the coast is clear.
He then stands next to the building, watching the parking lot for several minutes, and bangs on the glass.
He does this three times then eventually walks to the front of the business where he breaks through the glass, shattering the front door.

Once inside deputies said he made off with a lap top and $300 cash from the restaurant.

This video was shared nearly 180 times and had more than 10,000 page views.

While the restaurant did have to stay closed today because of the crime, they say it's thanks to their loyal following that Pollack was caught quickly, and they can reopen tomorrow knowing the suspect is behind bars.
