(WXYZ) - Wendy Howard can't thank the Call For Action team enough for helping her get her refrigerator problem fixed.
Wendy purchased the unit from a Sears outlet store and as soon as she got it home, she began to have problems.
First, it wouldn't cool the food and drinks in a proper way and then the ice machine wouldn't work.
Wendy made eight service calls, had 16 visits from the repair techs and it lasted for a year. She was talking with corporate at Sears, but says she wasn't getting anywhere.
She felt like she was in the middle because corporate told her that it was out of their jurisdiction while the outlet store said they could honor her warranty.
Wendy finally decided to call our team and got quick action. Within a few days, Sears did a terrific job of helping Wendy. We thank them for allowing Wendy to buy a brand new unit.
Wendy is very happy because for the first time in a year she has a working refrigerator.
