Can't get out of bed? Try these apps and gadgets

(WXYZ) - Do you have trouble waking up in the morning? I think it's safe to say you're not alone.

But there are some simple apps and gadgets that can help you get out of bed-- and, in some cases, make you feel more rested.

If you want to get your blood flowing in the morning, invest in Clocky the alarm clock.  Once you smack the snooze button, Clocky from Nanda Home rolls off your nightstand and continues to roll around the room until you get out of bed to shut it off.

Nothing like a little exercise to wake you up--Clocky costs around $39.

And instead of physical exercise, what about some brain teasers to get you ready for the day?

Try the FreakyAlarm app. FreakyAlarm will make you solve a series of games before your alarm stops ringing. It's 1.99.

And if you don't want to be so groggy in the morning, try the Sleep Cycle alarm clock app.

This app has received great reviews on iTunes. The app monitors your sleep patterns throughout the night and wakes you up in your lightest sleep phase--it's done within a 30 minute window before your set alarm time.

What does that mean? You wake up feeling relaxed and rested. You can get that app for 99 cents.

Are you a fan of Harry Potter? Then you may like the Flying Alarm Clock gadget . The helicopter piece actually flies off your nightstand when your alarm clock rings and it won't stop until you return it to the base. It's almost like capturing the golden snitch before starting your day every morning.

The alarm clock will cost you $14.99.

If you like to keep things simple to start you're day, then you may like the Rise Alarm Clock app . The app boasts it's "one of the simplest alarm clocks you will ever use."

It's a basic and aesthetical pleasing app that will wake you up in the morning. It also lets you customize your wake-up music from iTunes. It will cost you $1.99.
