Church leaders, activists plan national marches after Zimmerman not gulity verdict

DETROIT (WXYZ) - After George Zimmerman was found not guilty of murder, some local residents are outraged.

On Monday morning, local church leaders and activists held a press conference at King Solomon Baptist to announce marches happening across the country scheduled for July 20.

The marches will be held at federal buildings in 100 cities across the country.

They are asking the federal government to step in and take legal action against Zimmerman.

Organizers told 7 Action News in late August, supporters will take buses to Washington D.C. to hold a rally as well.
