College students take bus trip to vote

DETROIT (WXYZ) - A group of college students in Washington D.C. is taking their right to vote very seriously.

The group of 40 students from the Detroit area, who attend Howard University in D.C., are traveling on a bus overnight, heading to Detroit to cast their vote in the morning.
 

The trip was organized by students Erin Keith and Teeahnah Addison.

 The bus is scheduled to arrive sometime before 7 a.m. at Fellowship Chapel on Outer Drive.

 They'll cast their votes and be on the road by 6 p.m. Tuesday evening.
